Using this site and our services
These terms cover your use of the Sterling Antioch Concrete Coatings website and the flooring and concrete work we do for you. We're a flooring contractor in Antioch, CA, and we've kept these terms plain so you know where you stand before we ever set foot on your slab.
When you use this site, ask for an estimate or hire us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Feel free to call us with questions first.
If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job.
What we do
We install and repair concrete floor systems for homes and businesses. That includes epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic and urethane cement coatings, polished and stained concrete, terrazzo, sealing, resurfacing, self-leveling overlays, pool deck coatings, grinding and surface prep, and stripping old coatings. You can read more about us and how we work on our About page.
The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. They aren't a quote or a promise about your floor, because every slab is different and we only know what yours needs once we've seen it.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates with no obligation. We base an estimate on what we can see and measure on the visit, including the size of the area, the condition of the concrete and the system you choose.
Some problems only show up once the old coating is off or the slab is ground, such as hidden cracks, moisture coming up through the concrete or failing patches. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree with you on any change in scope or price before we do the extra work.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, prices for materials and labor may change, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set your start date together and do our best to keep it. Weather, temperature and humidity affect how coatings cure, so we may move a date to protect the finish, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (925) 503-1069 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those costs as your contract spells out. Nothing here takes away any right to cancel that California law gives you.
Payment
Your written estimate or contract sets the price, any deposit and when each payment is due. We'll go over it with you before work starts so there are no surprises.
Final payment is due when the work is complete as described in your contract. If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current.
Our guarantee and its limits
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with what we installed, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our work or materials.
We can't cover problems that come from things outside our work. That includes cracks or movement in the concrete underneath, moisture coming up through the slab, damage from impacts, sharp objects or chemicals left sitting on the surface, normal wear, and care that doesn't follow the instructions we give you.
Colors, flakes and metallic finishes vary from batch to batch and slab to slab, so your floor may look a little different from a sample or photo. Apart from what we promise in writing, we make no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent California law allows.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we take care to protect your property while we work. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses tied to a job, such as lost business, lost use of a space or similar costs.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, talk to us first. Most problems get sorted out with a phone call and a visit, and you can reach us at (925) 503-1069 or through our contact page.
If we can't work it out together, either of us may take the matter to the state or federal courts that serve Contra Costa County, California, unless your contract says otherwise.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from then on. A change won't alter a contract you've already signed with us.
These terms were last updated on November 1, 2026. You can always get back to our home page from here, or contact us if you have a question about anything on this page.
